Bonnie Thomas, RN founded Colorado Wellness Connection, LLC in 1999. She is a graduate of San Diego State University with a bachelor of science degree in nursing and a public health nursing certificate. Her university honors included Sigma Theta Tau, Mortar Board and Phi Kappa Phi. Bonnie’s nursing career includes hospital staff nursing, home care, nursing education, infection control, community education/event planning/health fairs and health and wellness marketing. As the president and CEO of Colorado Wellness Connection (CWC), Bonnie has had the opportunity to grow an important business all along Colorado’s Front Range. Some of the largest corporations and health care organizations are among CWC’s clients.
Community leadership is an important aspect of Bonnie’s life. Bonnie is 2008-09 President-Elect of the Rotary Club of Denver Southeast and heads the Club’s charitable foundation. She serves on the steering committee of the Colorado Influenza and Pneumococcal Alert Coalition (CIPAC), Bonnie is a member of the International Society of Travel Medicine, and is a member of the Board of the Healthy Communities committee of Littleton Adventist Hospital. She also serves as president of the Sundowner II Homeowners’ Association in Breckenridge, Colorado.
